The plot itself has all the trademarks of a classic love drama, especially the San Francisco scenes have their very own charm. The cast works great together, the twist gives the last act a very new dynamic.

That however, is the films biggest flaw as well. After crashing into a river, a lightning bolt henceforth makes Adaline immune to the ravages of time.
To me that storyline is a little iffy. The magical way the narrator explains it in the film and the way the world evolves around her, was very beautiful to me.
Yes, it is a stretch to believe this to ever happen in reality, but if you let that slide, you may just have a wonderful time watching this as I did.
I believed everything each character said and how they reacted to her. Overall, "Age of Adaline" has imperfections, but I really bought into this story and I wanted to see even more.
